This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I always knew I wanted to do the glitchless any% speedrun. Although, never would I have thought I would achieve something like this. For most of the run, the execution was on point. I'm extremely proud of how I played, but on top of that, getting the most insane Semerkhet split I've ever had, and first try Cairo Bike Jump as well, made this crazy.
This is one of those runs that during it you think, "Wow this is such a perfect start with such insane RNG, there's no way this run finishes, certainly not on this pace." And that's what I was thinking after Semerkhet, but the time loss didn't come. This is certainly the best speedrun I've ever done and I believe I will never have another run to this caliber. This is my magnum opus.
It would be a disservice to not mention the work that ktc24 put into optimizing this category with me. Together we discussed strategies and found small optimizations throughout the run and pushed each other to be better. Without ktc, I definitely wouldn't have performed such a good run or included the optimizations that we made. So thank you to him.
