Xbox Teams Up with Tomb Raider for a #Reborn Scavenger Hunt Experience
Starting today Tomb Raider fans in the United States & Canada will have the chance to nab hundreds of Xbox prizes in a digital #Reborn Twitter Scavenger Hunt. The scavenger hunt runs from today at 10 PM PST until Sunday, March 10 at midnight.
To participate you’ve got to capture an image of Tomb Raider signage and post it to Twitter using the #Reborn hashtag, directing the tweet to the @TombRaider account. You can share photos of a Tomb Raider billboard, an ad on the side of a bus, a poster in a game store, a banner on a website, or even get imaginative with Vine and share a short video clip. Just ensure you’re showcasing #Reborn. Every day we’ll choose our favorites to win a series of prizes!
What’s on the line? Lots of goodies. Daily prizes include:
- 1 grand-prize winner will receive a custom Tomb Raider Xbox 360 console with a copy of the game and an official Tomb Raider Xbox 360 Limited Edition Wireless Controller.
- 10 second-place winners will receive a copy of the game and an official Tomb Raider Xbox 360 Limited Edition Wireless Controller.
- 25 third-place winners will receive a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.
You read that right. Those are daily prizes. This means participants have over 200 chances to win an awesome Xbox prize throughout the contest.
We’ll publicly announce the winner of the custom Tomb Raider Xbox 360 console each subsequent day (so today’s winner will be announced Tuesday AM), and will contact all second and third place winners after the contest closes next week.
The promotion kicks off at 10:00 PM PST tonight, just in time for the Spike TV Tomb Raider special to air – The Final Hours: A Story of Survival. You can catch the special on Spike TV at 12:35 AM Eastern, and on Xbox Live at 10:00 PM Pacific.
